ALL SEATED IN A BARN

THE WHY BEHIND THE CLUB

In January, after seven exhausting days of doing everything in our power to save as many horses as we could, we were packing up to leave when we saw him. A horse, freshly dropped off, lying in a pen. His leg was shattered. He had already been weighed and tagged for slaughter.

I sat with him. I stroked his face. I told him he was a good boy. I apologized for humanity. I told him we aren’t all bad. And I cried. Because at that moment, all I could do for him—the only thing left—was to buy him from the kill pen and give him a dignified ending. Something his owners should have done long before he ended up there.

This is the part of rescue I hate. Cleaning up the mess left by neglectful owners, making the hard choices, and doing right by the ones who had no one. Bart deserved better. And I refuse to let his story end there.

The All Seated in a Barn Horse Rescue Club was created in his honor.

Every month, the merchandise you purchase and the donations you make go directly toward rescuing horses and donkeys like Bart—who need help, in whatever form that looks like. Whether it’s urgent medical care, a safe place to land, or simply ensuring that they never experience suffering again, the funds raised through this club

will change their lives.

Beyond that, your support helps us grow. It allows us to expand our facilities, to take in more horses and donkeys, and continue fighting for every single one we can. The bigger the Club gets, the more lives we save.

It’s that simple.

Together, we WILL build something that becomes their lifeline.

THE MISSION

"Rescue isn't just about saving lives. It is about changing the system so they never need saving in the first place"

The ASIAB Horse Rescue Club (HRC) is more than just a membership—it’s a movement. A collective force dedicated to saving horses trapped in the slaughter pipeline, funding critical rescue efforts, and creating real change in an industry that has failed them.

As the HRC grows, so does our ability to intake more horses, provide urgent medical care, and give them the second chance they deserve. The bigger this club gets, the more we can do, the more horses we can save, and the greater impact we can make.

Imagine HRC shirts being sold in places like Target, Walmart, and major retailers. Imagine millions of people wearing them, spreading awareness, and turning this into something bigger than any one rescue. This is what we NEED—to take horse rescue mainstream, to make saving these animals something everyone knows about, talks about, and fights for.

For those who have followed ASIAB over the years, you know I’ve always been transparent about my mission. The horse industry needs options. Owners need options. These horses need options. And options require funding. This is a way to build consistent, sustainable funding that allows us not only to keep fighting but to expand that fight beyond just ASIAB.

The Bigger Picture: How HRC Helps Everyone

    •    Collabs with other rescues = funding and resources for them, too.

    •    Collabs with celebrities = massive awareness and financial support for struggling rescues.

    •    More funding = more horses saved, more rehabilitation, more adoptions.

    •    Mainstream exposure = more people educated on the issue, more people joining the fight.

The government isn’t stepping in to stop this. Rescues and sanctuaries can’t keep going if the funding isn’t there. So, I’m doing everything in my power to create a way to FUND THIS.

This isn’t just about ASIAB. It’s about all of us—whether we always agree or not. It’s about the horses and donkeys who have no voice, no options, and no future unless we fight for them.

This is how we change the industry. This is how we give these animals a chance. This is how we build something bigger than any one rescue—something that lasts, grows, and makes a real difference.
