Saving the Reservation Horses
We are a coalition of dedicated rescues working TOGETHER to save horses directly from the Indian Reservations, providing them a second chance before they face the threat of slaughter. By uniting our resources, skills, and passion, we ensure these horses receive the care, safety, and future they deserve.Our mission is simple: to protect and uplift every horse we can by fostering collaboration, trust, and mutual support among rescues, making a stronger impact together.

CURRENT FUNDRAISER
We are currently raising funds to save 40 wild horses who were recently rounded up from the Navajo reservation. Typically these horses are sent directly to slaughter. For the Love of the Hoof was able to acquire a contract with one of the reservations allowing us to step in and help the horses IMMEDIATELY with our families being separated, babies being torn from their moms, and whole bands sent to a horrible fate.

Your support will hep us cover essential costs for their rescue, including medical care, safe and clean transportation, quarantine, gelding of all males, training, nutritious feed, and more. These funds will allow us to provide the necessary care to rehabilitate these horses and prepare them for a chance at a new life.
