Lincoln spent years doing exactly what people demanded of him.

He was bred, trained, and used as a rodeo bucking horse — loaded onto trailers, hauled across the country, and expected to perform over and over again for crowds and entertainment. His job was to buck until his body simply couldn’t keep up anymore.

Then came the part so many people never see.

The moment he was no longer profitable, he was discarded into the auction pipeline like thousands of other horses every single year.

That is where we found him.

We rescued Lincoln in May of 2023, and today he lives safely at our RST property in Texas, where he has become one of the most recognized and loved horses on the ranch. People who visit know him instantly. There’s just something about him that leaves an impression.

Maybe it’s the way he carries himself.
Maybe it’s the weight of what he survived.
Maybe it’s knowing that horses like Lincoln give everything they have to people… only to be thrown away once they can’t anymore.

Lincoln deserved better than that ending.

Now, instead of being treated like a disposable commodity, he gets to simply exist as a horse. Safe. Fed. Protected. Seen for more than what he could provide.
