Help Us Secure the Future ASIAB Veterinary Clinic Property

This is one of the biggest and most important steps All Seated in a Barn has ever taken.

We have the opportunity to purchase approximately 160 acres directly beside our existing RST property in Texas. A connecting parcel that would have brought the total property to more than 200 acres has already sold, leaving this as our opportunity to secure the remaining land.

We cannot afford to lose it.

Purchasing this property does not mean construction begins immediately. It means the land is secured, the future of the project is protected and we can continue raising the funds necessary to build Phase One responsibly.

Why This Property Matters

ASIAB’s veterinary and medical expenses already exceed $1.3 million annually and are expected to reach approximately $1.5 million in 2026.

The cost is enormous, but the greatest concern is not simply financial—it is time.

Rescued horses should not have to wait days for an available appointment. Critically ill animals should not have to be transported long distances while they are already suffering. Emergency care should not depend on whether an outside facility has space.

This property would allow us to begin building a veterinary and recovery campus created around the needs of the animals entering our program.

Our vision for Phase One includes an 18-stall hospital with surgical capabilities, diagnostics, emergency care and inpatient monitoring. The surrounding acreage would also give us room to grow feed, create large turnout areas for wild horses and provide recovering animals with the space, quiet and individualized care they need.

This would put more control over their care into the hands of the people who know them, advocate for them and refuse to give up on them.

It is a first-of-its-kind project for ASIAB and a critical investment in the future of rescue.

Our Immediate Goal

We need approximately $200,000 for the property down payment.

A committed donor has already helped us raise approximately $60,000, leaving approximately $140,000 still needed for the down payment.

Where Your Contribution Goes

We want to be completely transparent about how this campaign will support both the future clinic project and the animals who depend on ASIAB today.

• 90% of each campaign contribution will be allocated to the acquisition of the Texas property and the future development of ASIAB’s veterinary clinic and recovery campus.

• 10% will support ASIAB’s existing nonprofit rescue program and the direct costs associated with this campaign, including the Sudsy Pony thank-you gifts, fulfillment and transaction expenses.

This structure allows us to invest the overwhelming majority of the campaign into securing the property while continuing to feed, transport, rehabilitate and provide medical care for the hundreds of animals already depending on us.

Based on this allocation, we must raise approximately $165,000 in additional campaign contributions for roughly $140,000 to be allocated toward the remaining down-payment need.

Important Campaign Information

ASIAB is actively working toward purchasing this specific property, but donations cannot guarantee that the transaction will close. If ASIAB is unable to complete the purchase, the portion allocated to the property campaign will remain restricted to the acquisition or development of an appropriate Texas veterinary clinic and recovery property, unless otherwise required by law or agreed upon in writing with a donor.

The Sudsy Pony has an estimated fair market value of $12. The tax-deductible portion of a contribution may be limited to the amount contributed above the value of any goods or services received. ASIAB will provide appropriate charitable acknowledgments where required. Donors should consult their tax advisers regarding their individual circumstances.
